ACCESSIBILITY & PETS
WHEELCHAIRS
At the High Level Bridge line, a wheelchair accessible car (Melbourne 930) will, whenever possible, be in service on Saturdays and Sundays. A wheelchair ramp is available at the Strathcona stop which enables wheelchair passengers to make a round trip, but it is not available during the Fringe Festival. There are no ramps at any other stops. Technical issues can arise, and the wheelchair-accessible car may be swapped out at any time to maintain the service.
STROLLERS & WAGONS
Space for strollers is very limited on our High Level Bridge streetcars. Large strollers can be secured in lockers at our Whyte Ave terminal or at our Strathcona Streetcar Barn/Museum prior to starting a round trip on the streetcar and may be requested by the conductor on busy days.
PETS
Individuals with qualified service dogs trained to aid or to guide people with visual, hearing or other disabilities are permitted in ERRS streetcars and facilities. All non-service dogs and other animals are permitted on the cars at the discretion of the conductor and are dependent on passenger loads (please be cognizant of how your pet may behave around crowds). Guests are responsible for the cleanup of any messes their pets may create.
